Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support a long-term contract position, the remote Network Engineer will design and implement F5 LTM and GTM solutions, configure and manage F5 BIG-IP modules, and develop automation workflows while collaborating with various teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and configure F5 LTM and GTM solutions, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
- Monitor device performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement security configurations
- Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations and procedures
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- F5 Certified Technician and Implementation Specialist certifications for LTM and GTM
- 5-7 years of experience with F5 products, specifically LTM and GTM
- Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
