Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support customer service implementations in a global cloud infrastructure, the full-time remote Network Engineer will manage network deployment activities, troubleshoot various networking configurations, and document processes while primarily working during Pacific Time business hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead network deployment activities during customer onboarding, ensuring delivery quality and customer experience
• Manage and troubleshoot networking configurations, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments
• Document work in the company ticketing system and maintain knowledge base documentation

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of recent experience as a technical, hands-on Cisco network engineer in managed services, IaaS, or cloud infrastructure
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification with documented work experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as BGP, IPsec, and VLANs
• Experience with virtualization clusters (VMware) and software-defined networking is preferred
