Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time remote Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across client environments, focusing on Cisco and Fortinet technologies while collaborating with internal teams to ensure optimal network performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet devices across client environments
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization

Required qualifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience
• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Level 4 or higher preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, preferably in a managed services or service provider environment
• Strong understanding of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and FortiOS
