Network Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and implementing enterprise network solutions, the contract-to-hire Network Engineer will support cloud connectivity, enhance security protocols, and ensure high availability and performance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions across multiple locations and cloud environments
- Lead network security initiatives and support M&A activities, including network carve-outs and integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and telephony systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise networking experience, with expertise as a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer
- Deep hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, and cloud networking (Azure)
- Experience supporting hybrid and multi-site environments, including network carve-outs and M&A activities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Azure Networking are a plus
