Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support network operations, the full-time Level 3 Engineer will manage NOC escalations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure network performance and availability in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor core and customer connections for performance issues and escalate anomalies to maintain 99.999% network availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 escalations related to hardware, software, or protocols
• Document all steps taken to resolve issues and interact with NOC Agents, Engineering, Vendors, and Customers for quick resolution

Required Qualifications

• Extensive understanding of complex network design and strong operational experience in Service Provider networks
• Proficiency with Cisco routers and switches (Catalyst and Nexus), as well as firewalls such as Palo Alto and Cisco ASA
• Knowledge of load balancer technology, packet shaping, wireless technology, and Cisco Call Manager
• Must possess at least one of the following certifications: CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Collaboration, or CCNP Security
• Familiarity with SIP, H323 Gateways, WebEx Meeting, and Hybrid Calling technologies
