Network Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking experienced Network Engineers for a full-time position focused on delivering engineering services for network infrastructure and enterprise computing, including cloud services and virtualized applications, while supporting a key government customer.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and engineer network infrastructure, including voice and video engineering, application management, and network analytics
- Configure and harden Linux operating systems and network gear to meet cybersecurity standards
- Provide independent troubleshooting and support for network issues, including after-hours and weekend availability
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in network engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
- Expertise with commercial cloud service providers, including building VPCs and configuring Linux VMs
- Experience with configuring and hardening firewalls, switches, routers, and other network appliances
- Proficiency in commercial VPNs and messaging applications
