Network Engineer F5 / Fortinet

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer specializing in F5, Fortinet, and Ingress-Egress.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze F5 iRules inventory and classify by migration complexity
• Design ALB/NLB configuration to replace F5 functions and implement interim solutions if necessary
• Design AWS Network Firewall rule groups and validate functional parity for F5 and Fortinet replacements

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of F5 BIG-IP, including iRules and virtual servers
• Advanced knowledge of ALB/NLB listener rules and AWS Network Firewall
• Experience with L7 traffic inspection and TLS/mTLS certificate management
• Proficiency in Terraform for ALB/NLB/Network Firewall module development
• Strongly preferred experience in F5 to cloud-native migration
