Network Engineer I

Job Summary

Supporting the design, deployment, and operation of enterprise local area network (LAN) infrastructure, the full-time remote Network Engineer I will manage foundational network engineering tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards for reliable connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN infrastructure, including switches and access layers
• Perform basic troubleshooting of network issues, including connectivity problems and VLAN misconfigurations
• Assist in implementing network changes and monitor network performance, escalating complex issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1 year of related experience in network engineering
• Some experience in automation and scripting with tools such as PowerShell, Python, or SQL
