Network Engineer II

Job Summary

Designing and implementing capacity on the existing DWDM network, the full-time Network Engineer II will work remotely, primarily communicating with internal teams to ensure timely project completion and performance targets are met.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement DWDM network solutions while managing capacity fulfillment across U.S. and Canadian networks
• Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver service requirements and maintain customer commitments
• Provide updates on project status and resolve provisioning problems in coordination with field operations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in telecommunications and/or data networking
• Familiarity with optical systems such as Fuji, Adva, Ciena, and ROADM technology
• Experience with project management software and telecom inventory systems
• Relevant experience in Project Coordination within the Telecommunications industry
