Network Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer II to support and enhance its network and security infrastructure in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, tune, and maintain Cisco/Fortinet networks, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Monitor resource usage, optimize performance, and develop procedures to prevent outages
• Provide technical assistance, resolve escalated help desk requests, and manage projects to meet organizational objectives

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an IT Enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of routing/switching and firewall configuration
• Expertise in spanning tree protocol, OSPF, IPSEC, and SSL VPNs
• Experience with network configuration and monitoring
