Network Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer II to ensure the stability and integrity of data and voice networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and deploys LANs and WANs, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitors network performance and troubleshoots issues as needed
• Creates and maintains documentation related to network configuration and processes

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in IT or related field (industry experience may substitute)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Network-focused industry certifications
• Proven experience with network capacity planning and security principles
• Expert knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices
