Network Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer II to plan and implement network augments and pop builds on the IP/Ethernet network.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify areas of backbone congestion and facilitate new IP trunk installations
• Engineer capacity details, including router port and cross-connect specifications
• Update project documentation and status in Salesforce regularly

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or minimum of three years of related experience
• Familiarity with IP routing and switching fundamentals, including BGP and DNS
• Experience troubleshooting router connectivity in a complex network environment
• Proficiency in using a router CLI to provision IP/Ethernet services
• Experience with Junos and/or Nokia is preferred
