Network Engineer II

Job Summary

Providing advanced networking support for community banks and credit unions, the full-time remote Network Engineer II will troubleshoot network connectivity issues, support Cisco and Palo Alto infrastructure, and ensure network stability and security while working Tuesday to Saturday from 1pm to 10pm Central Time.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for financial institution clients through various communication channels
• Provide support for Cisco networking infrastructure and administer Palo Alto firewalls, including policy management and security configuration
• Document troubleshooting activities and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and service improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments
• Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and security platforms
• Hands-on experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, and network security principles
