Network Engineer II
Job Summary
Designing and implementing new capacity on the existing DWDM network, the full-time Network Engineer II will work remotely to manage project deliverables, communicate with internal teams, and meet performance targets.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement DWDM network solutions while creating Engineering Design Packages for Operations
- Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver service requirements and manage workload to prioritize critical tasks
- Provide timely updates on project status and support field operations in resolving provisioning issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
- Familiarity with optical systems such as Fuji, Adva, and Cisco
- Experience with project coordination in the telecommunications industry
- Working knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs using ROADM technology
