Network Engineer II
Job Summary
Providing 24x7 network support for production and corporate networks, the full-time Network Engineer II will troubleshoot layer 1-3 issues, proactively monitor network health, and manage network-related incidents while working remotely with flexible shift schedules, including weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of defense for all network-related incidents, ensuring quick service restoration
- Install, configure, and maintain network hosts and services, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Create and update standard operating procedures for network change management and issue mitigation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 2 to 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Full understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, and firewalls
- Familiarity with content delivery networks and internet peering strategies
- CCNA certification or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and swing shifts
