Network Engineer II - Optical

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer II - Optical responsible for designing and implementing capacity on the DWDM network.

Key Responsibilities

• Design planning and capacity fulfillment for U.S. and Canadian networks
• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet service requirements and deliverables
• Provide support to field operations and manage budget forecasts related to service commitments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Working knowledge of optical systems and ROADM technology
• Familiarity with optical products such as Fuji, Adva, Ciena, and Cisco
• Experience with project management software and telecom inventory systems
