Network Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer (Telecom Domain).

Key Responsibilities

• Prep, test, groom, and provision the customer’s network for traffic migration off decommissioned network elements
• Collaborate with onsite technicians to verify pathways for traffic migration and perform maintenance, activation, and implementation activities
• Partner with internal teams for guidance, provide updates and escalations to the program leader, and manage scheduling tasks

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in telecom network provisioning and grooming
• Strong background with network turn downs, traffic migration, activations, and maintenance
• Experience with SONET technologies and TDM-Copper systems
• Familiarity with network equipment such as Ciena, Fujitsu, Nortel, and DXCs
• Able to work any shift in a 24X7 rotation
