Network Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer - III to join their Core Network Engineering and Implementation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and implement new eNSE platform within datacenters, collaborating with various engineering teams
• Create and manage technical documentation for Layer 1 equipment installation and fiber testing, while troubleshooting newly installed routers and switches
• Support the migration of core elements to the intelligent edge network and engineer IP edge networks at Service Aggregation Points

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
• Experience with IP Layer 1-3 for Edge Networks and hands-on experience with network virtualization
• Functional knowledge of TCP/IP (IPv4 and IPv6) and working knowledge of VXLAN and BGP
• Extensive knowledge of Layer 1 troubleshooting for copper and fiber cabling
• In-depth knowledge of Command Line Interface (CLI) commands for various networking equipment
