Network Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engr, Network III.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technology planning and evaluation for system design requirements, including equipment selection and integration
• Define test plans and execute tests in a lab environment to meet customer requirements
• Provide financial analysis on proposed products and their impact on the network

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of experience
• Experience in planning, design, and implementation of customer services and network optimization on transport and IP-based networks
• Experience in designing and engineering voice switches and gateways
• Experience with Ethernet voice/VoIP and layer 2 networks, VLAN tagging, and QoS concepts
• Technical experience with voice and packet data networks
