Network Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer III - Optical.

Key Responsibilities

• Design planning and capacity fulfillment for DWDM networks across the U.S. and Canada
• Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver service requirements and create Engineering Design Packages
• Provide updates on service deliverables, manage budgets, and support field operations for provisioning issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Experience with Optical Link Engineering and knowledge of DWDM platforms such as Infinera, Ciena, and Nokia
• Familiarity with Metasolv/M6 database
• Working knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs using ROADM technology
