Network Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer III - Optical.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement capacity on the existing DWDM network while creating engineering design packages
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver service requirements and provide timely updates on project status
• Manage customer commitments, budget forecasts, and resolve provisioning issues with field operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Required experience with Optical Link Engineering and platforms such as Infinera, Ciena, and Nokia DWDM
• Experience with Metasolv/M6 database
• Working knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs using ROADM technology
