Network Engineer III

Job Summary

To support a dynamic IT environment, the full-time remote Network Engineer III will provide Tier 3 technical support for complex networking issues, configure and troubleshoot network equipment, and administer VMware and Microsoft Azure infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex IT infrastructure and networking issues
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, managed switches, routers, and wireless networking equipment
• Monitor network performance, security, and system availability while assisting with server administration and disaster recovery

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support or systems/network administration experience
• Strong experience with networking, firewalls, managed switches, VMware virtualization, and Microsoft Azure
• Experience supporting IP/cloud phone systems
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, and Microsoft Azure certifications
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
