Network Engineer III

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Network Engineer III, this remote position will manage customer installations and configurations, lead complex networking projects, and design and troubleshoot Extreme Networks technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer projects as the networking technical lead, creating High-Level and Low-Level Designs
• Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Extreme Networks routers, switches, and wireless systems
• Build automation templates for equipment roll-outs and support the Account team as a Subject Matter Expert

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in field support, professional services, or technical support roles
• Extensive experience with Juniper routers and switches, including migrations from VPLS to EVPN
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing protocols such as MPLS, EVPN, and BGP
• Ability to use scripting for configuring networking devices
• Data Center routing and switching experience is required
