Network Engineer III

Job Summary

Providing advanced technical support for data and voice network systems, the full-time salaried Network Engineer III will install, maintain, and configure network hardware and software while ensuring operational excellence and efficiency, with the option to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and configure network hardware and software, resolving technical issues reported by users or system alerts
• Manage network components, asset inventory, and capacity planning, including documentation of network device upgrades
• Monitor and audit network performance, assisting in threat mitigation and network security activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or related field
• Four years of experience in a related role such as Network Engineer or Network Administrator
• Experience with computer hardware skills, including setup, troubleshooting, and software installation
• Knowledge of WAN, VPN, and networking technologies/protocols including TCP/IP and VoIP
• Familiarity with Cisco and Cabletron hubs and routers, as well as network routing and switching
