Network Engineer III

Job Summary

To ensure system availability and reliability, the full-time Network Engineer III will monitor network performance, configure and install network devices, and perform maintenance tasks in a remote capacity, pending contract award.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and install various network devices and services, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs and security configurations
• Monitor system resource utilization and assist in capacity planning

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a network engineer within the DoD environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance
• Experience with configuration and change management policies
• Proficiency in liaising with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution
