Network Engineer III - Optical

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer III - Optical (WaaS).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement capacity on the DWDM network, focusing on WAAS automation standards
• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet service requirements and provide updates on project milestones
• Review capacity requests for accuracy and support field operations in resolving provisioning issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Optical Link Engineering experience with Infinera, Ciena, or Nokia DWDM platforms is required
• Experience with Metasolv/M6 database is required
• Working knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs using ROADM technology
