Network Engineer III - Optical

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer III - Optical (WaaS).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement capacity on the DWDM network, ensuring alignment with WAAS automation standards
• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet customer service requirements and provide timely updates on project deliverables
• Review capacity requests for accuracy and maintain customer commitments in the database

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Optical Link Engineering experience and knowledge of Infinera, Ciena, and Nokia DWDM platforms
• Experience with Metasolv/M6 database
• Familiarity with optical systems and project management software
