Network Engineer IV

Job Summary

Network Engineer IV, responsible for leading the deployment of F5 firewalls and secure network infrastructure in a contract role, working part-time with one day in the office and the rest remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the full lifecycle deployment of F5 firewalls
• Perform deep-dive L1-L3 network analysis to resolve complex connectivity and performance issues
• Utilize NMS, SIEM, and SNMP-based tools to monitor network health and report on performance metrics

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of advanced configuration/administration with F5 and/or Juniper SRX
• Expertise in L1/2/3 troubleshooting and network architecture
• Familiarity with Linux, Virtualization, Proxies, and WAN Optimization
• Preferred experience with Ansible or similar orchestration platforms
