Network Engineer IV
Job Summary
As a full-time remote Network Engineer IV, the successful candidate will design, implement, secure, document, and sustain hybrid network architectures connecting Azure Government-hosted services, on-premises resources, and remote users while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain hybrid Azure Government network architecture and connectivity solutions
- Implement security measures including Azure Network Security Groups and firewall policies to protect network integrity
- Develop and automate network infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools and practices
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-8 years of experience
- Extensive experience with Azure networking services, including virtual networks, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, and network security principles
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep for network configuration management
