Network Implementation Engineer

Job Summary

Network Implementation Engineer is a full-time remote contract position responsible for managing advanced configurations and OS upgrades for Cisco and Nokia equipment while ensuring seamless network transitions and implementing virtualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Transition network elements to the eNSE platform using Software Defined Networking (SDN) and virtualization
• Plan and implement changes during overnight maintenance windows with zero customer impact
• Utilize automation tools to streamline deployment projects and perform remote troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Expert-level CLI comprehension for Nokia and Cisco hardware
• Extensive troubleshooting knowledge for Layer 1 (copper and fiber) and deep understanding of Layer 2/3 networking
• Functional knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 protocols
• Ability to follow detailed engineering design documents and manage high-stakes maintenance windows
