Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Communication Manager, this full-time remote position will manage strategic messaging for infrastructure services, support incident communications for network outages, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Lumen's brand narrative.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with infrastructure leaders to develop proactive storytelling opportunities around network expansions and innovations
• Drive media relations by building journalist relationships and creating timely pitches that position executives as industry authorities
• Lead communications for network outages, including drafting messaging and coordinating with various stakeholders for accuracy and timeliness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
• Significant experience in high-stakes communications within complex organizations
• Ability to translate technical information into clear messaging for diverse audiences
• Proven experience in developing proactive media strategies and preparing spokespeople
• Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
