Network Infrastructure Design Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Infrastructure Design Technician to support internal network order fulfillment and circuit design in a telecom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and redesign Layer 1 circuit layout records to reflect network builds across various technologies
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain network infrastructure records
• Collaborate with Planning and Engineering teams to support equipment provisioning and infrastructure circuits

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of optical networking equipment such as Ciena, Fujitsu, and Alcatel/Lucent
• Experience with telecommunications inventory systems including TIRKS and OMNIvue
• Strong technical understanding of voice, data, and Ethernet products
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Commitment to continuous learning and skill development
