Network Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

To support a rapidly scaling cloud platform, the full-time Network Infrastructure Engineer will own core network infrastructure across multiple data centers and cloud providers, design customer-facing networking capabilities, and investigate complex networking issues, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and shape Render's core network infrastructure as the company scales
• Design and implement networking capabilities for user flexibility in service connectivity and traffic routing
• Investigate and resolve complex networking issues across the stack, enhancing performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in building and operating large-scale networking or infrastructure systems
• Experience with Kubernetes networking internals or similar container networking technology
• Proficiency in Linux networking internals in production environments
• Experience with traffic routing systems at scale
• Strong background in designing and operating distributed systems
