Network Monitoring Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance network visibility and operational efficiency, the contract Network Monitoring & Observability Administrator will design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring solutions while collaborating remotely with network engineering, operations, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support telemetry collection, dashboards, and integrations for monitoring network infrastructure and services
• Configure and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, integrating them with ServiceNow for automation
• Troubleshoot data collection and visualization issues, partnering with operational teams to improve network reliability

Required qualifications

• Experience administering and supporting Prometheus and Grafana in production environments
• Strong understanding of telemetry collection from network devices and infrastructure systems
• Proven ability to develop and maintain custom Grafana dashboards and visualizations
• Experience integrating monitoring platforms with ServiceNow
• Understanding of ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, and knowledge management
