Network Observability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Observability Engineer to support large-scale, complex enterprise networks with a focus on visibility, performance, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network observability solutions for real-time visibility into network performance and health
• Analyze network telemetry, traffic flows, logs, and metrics to proactively identify and resolve performance and reliability issues
• Support and troubleshoot routing and switching environments utilizing BGP and other core network protocols

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering or network operations roles
• Strong hands-on experience with BGP and foundational networking protocols (OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
• Experience with network observability tools and concepts such as telemetry, NetFlow, SNMP, logs, and metrics
• Proficiency in automation and infrastructure-as-code tools including Python, Terraform, and Ansible
• Experience working in large-scale or enterprise network environments
