Job Summary
Seeking a motivated individual for a full-time remote Network Operations Analyst II position, responsible for proactively monitoring customer network infrastructure, managing trouble tickets, and performing basic troubleshooting to enhance broadband and telecommunications initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Actively monitor customer network infrastructure using established NOC tools to identify issues and respond to alarms
- Create, work, and update trouble tickets for network issues with accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform initial diagnosis of connectivity issues by following Standard Operating Procedures and troubleshooting guides
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of work experience in a NOC or technical support environment
- Strong understanding of Internet connectivity, IP addressing, and the function of routers/switches
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
- Proven experience interacting with customers or clients in a technical support capacity
- Familiarity with general computing and ability to master new network monitoring software quickly
