Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Network Operations Center Analyst will monitor network activity, respond to alerts, manage tickets, and communicate with customers and internal teams while following established procedures and escalation paths.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor broadband service provider networks and respond to alarms, alerts, and outages
- Create, update, and manage tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions
- Perform initial triage and basic troubleshooting of network issues related to routing, switching, and service availability
Required qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience or familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- Ability to work shift-based schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Experience in a NOC, help desk, ISP, or managed services environment is preferred
