Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer for a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, and access points
• Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents to minimize downtime and service disruptions
• Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN and SD-LAN solutions to optimize network performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

• Expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, SD-LAN, wireless, and Nexus technologies
• Experience with routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, VTP), and network security policies (e.g., ACLs, VPNs)
• Ability to configure and manage wireless networks, including access points, controllers, and authentication mechanisms
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams for network upgrades, expansions, and migrations
• Experience providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
