Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Network Operations Engineer specializing in Load Balancers, F5, and Nginx for federal clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain global cloud network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and application delivery systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation
• Analyze network metrics and support operations in hybrid and multi-cloud environments

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of network operations experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Application Delivery Controllers (e.g., F5, NGINX) and network security devices
• Solid understanding of network protocols and services, including TCP/IP and VPNs
• Experience managing hybrid and public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools, such as Ansible and Terraform
