Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Control Specialist to monitor and support network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support critical network elements to ensure continuous operation of network infrastructure
• Identify and validate trouble conditions, taking appropriate actions to minimize service interruptions
• Perform proactive network status checks and collaborate with engineering groups to improve service capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalency) with 2-6 years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree (or equivalency) with 2-4 years of experience
• Experience with Cisco Systems platforms is preferred
• Knowledge of troubleshooting layer 2/layer 3 network issues
• Familiarity with scripting and/or programming languages is a plus
• Basic skill set and proficiency in network management and monitoring
