Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage customer onboarding, troubleshoot network performance issues, and drive improvements across the global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to onboard BYO-BGP customers and troubleshoot performance issues related to availability, reachability, latency, and jitter
• Research network events to identify technical debt and drive end-to-end improvements across platforms
• Compose, review, and test procedure documentation for scheduled maintenance to enhance customer experience

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with BGP-based networks and Internet scale routing tables
• Understanding of technologies and protocols such as VxLAN and EVPN
• Basic Linux administration experience, preferably with Debian
• Experience with cloud networking concepts including VPCs and IPsec
• Certifications such as CCNA or JNCIA are highly preferred
