Network Operations Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on providing 24/7 monitoring and technical support for global network infrastructure, the full-time remote Network Operations Engineer will assist with configuration, installation, and maintenance of network devices while ensuring compliance with security policies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the configuration, installation, and maintenance of Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto firewall devices
- Provide multi-layered technical support and troubleshoot customer-facing networks, escalating complex issues as needed
- Implement system and network configurations in compliance with corporate security policies and best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting SD-WAN environments
- Working knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
- Demonstrated customer focus and strong analytical skills in a 24/7 operations environment
