Network Operations Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a 12-month contract basis, the Network Operations Engineer will maintain and monitor a large-scale Cisco network environment through 24/7 real-time monitoring, proactively identifying and responding to network events and incidents while collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 real-time monitoring of the network environment and proactively identify potential issues
- Respond rapidly to network incidents and escalations, troubleshooting and mitigating issues as necessary
- Collaborate with network vendors and technical teams to investigate and resolve network-related problems
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Network Operations
- 3-5 years of experience working in a Cisco network environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and SecureCRT
- Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar 24/7 network monitoring environment
- Ability to work Saturday-Wednesday or Sunday-Thursday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM ET
