Network Operations Manager

Job Summary

Managing operational aspects of active networks across multiple states, the full-time salaried Network Operations Manager will oversee NOC management, outage response, and scheduled maintenance activities while ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for network-related issues and escalations from other departments or customers
• Manage incidents, emergency maintenance activities, and urgent customer requests on a 24/7 basis to ensure timely responses
• Oversee scheduled maintenance activities, including the preparation of MOPs and coordination with customers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in fiber network operations with prior supervisory experience
• Thorough understanding of fiber network troubleshooting, repair, maintenance procedures, and security protocols
• Experience with network infrastructure management platforms such as ArcGIS and Zoho CRM
• Proficiency in preparing MOPs and customer presentations with a focus on analytics
• Experience communicating with high-profile customers during emergency maintenance events
