Network Operations Technician

Job Summary

Seeking a Global Network Operations Technician NOC II for a full-time remote position, responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing a multinational Ethernet and IP network, primarily utilizing Juniper and Cisco equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Ethernet and IP equipment and associated protocols including BGP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve network and service issues promptly
• Document work efforts and troubleshooting status in the trouble ticketing system while ensuring high customer satisfaction

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school with 3-5 years of related experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing Ethernet and IP networks
• Experience with Juniper or Cisco routing equipment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
• Familiarity with trouble ticketing and circuit inventory software
