Network Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure the accuracy of provider network data, the full-time Network Outreach Specialist will manage outbound validation calls to providers, contact members regarding preventive health activities, and handle inquiries while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Make outbound validation calls to providers to confirm demographic details for all Horizon networks
• Contact members about preventive health activities and manage inbound service calls for provider inquiries
• Assist provider offices with credentialing issues and maintain documentation in databases

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or telephone sales, preferably in a Managed Care environment
• Some experience with provider practices or healthcare settings
• Knowledge of the health insurance industry
• Proficiency in MS Office products and familiarity with intranet and internet applications
