Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Planning Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans for network growth and capacity management across the National Core Transport Network
• Prepare formal planning packages for implementation, procurement, and equipment installation
• Manage capital and expense budgets for assigned projects and maintain monthly cost estimates

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant engineering or network transport planning experience
• Foundational knowledge in network transport engineering, SONET, and wave division multiplexing
• Understanding of central office infrastructure and outside plant principles
• Experience in capacity management and data analysis
• Competent computer skills
