Network Planning Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the development of detailed network growth and evolution plans, the contract Network Planning Engineer I will create planning packages for implementation by field engineering teams while managing budget approvals and expenditures, all in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development of network growth and evolution plans
• Create planning packages for field/design engineering teams to implement
• Manage capital and expense budget approvals associated with assigned projects

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant engineering or planning experience in network transport
• Experience with mechanized systems for transport planning and engineering
• Knowledge of network transport planning processes and capacity management
• Competent computer skills, including proficiency in Word
