Network Planning Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the strategy and optimization of a global network infrastructure environment, the full-time remote Manager of Network Planning will manage capacity forecasting, coordinate network expansion projects, and drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting network planning initiatives, including capacity forecasting and long-term growth planning
• Coordinating network expansion projects and infrastructure deployment activities to meet customer demand
• Developing and maintaining network planning standards and scalable deployment practices across environments

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Network Planning, Network Engineering, or related fields within telecommunications or datacenter environments
• Strong understanding of Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking, including fiber infrastructure and large-scale network architectures
• Experience with automation technologies, Python, APIs, and analytics tools for operational processes
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with various stakeholders
• Knowledge of governance frameworks and infrastructure lifecycle management practices
