Network Planning Optimization Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Planning Operational Research Expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own optimization strategy for airline network planning at full network scale
• Drive algorithmic strategy and design large scale optimization approaches
• Act as a technical reference point for airline network planning optimization and share expertise across teams

Required Qualifications

• PhD or MSc (or equivalent) in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in airline network planning or large scale transportation optimization
• Recognized expertise in full airline network and schedule design, fleet assignment, and connectivity modeling
• Expert level mastery of Linear Programming (LP), Mixed Integer Programming (MIP), and network flow models
• Proven ability to design scalable, production-ready optimization systems
